Message on the answering machine: Hi, my name is __________ and we have a planner of Kelly's here at our house. We found it in the middle of the road outside the library, along with a movie and a book. There are credit cards and a check book in the planner, so you might want to come get it. I think you might have left it on top of your car.
Just a typical day in the life of Kelly. So grateful for honest people. So tired of doing mindless acts such as this one. Anyone else relate? Anyone?
PS
I haven't told Jeff yet.

Oh, Kelli, I'm sorry. At least the people who found it were honest though.
I am glad to hear about honest people that are in the world. Good luck!
LOL! I'm laughing because I can SOOO relate--including the not wanting to tell hubby part! :) (Thank heavens the people who found it were honest, or it would be no laughing matter at all.)
Okay--now it's time to post my two lousy days on our other blog! (I think I'm going to be watching your kids next week...)
How sad is it that I feel relieved when I hear stories like this. Yes! I'm not the only one. Maybe this will help. Several months ago I loaded the kids in the car after shopping at Albertsons and headed for home, leaving my shopping cart there on the sidewalk full of groceries. I got to the library when I remembered. Luckily, they were just pushing it back into the store when I pulled up.
Ok, not me, but TD...so I live with someone with your problem. I was so delighted when we bought his Ford truck because he had a number pad to get into the truck when, not if, he locked his keys in the car. I also bought something from target, you put it on the keychain, and/or remote, etc and then you can beep it with the tower to find it. He was SO delighted.
Kelly, this is HILARIOUS! I adore you and I'm glad you're so honest about yourself ... it allows all the rest of us to do the same. We've all done this kind of stuff, we just don't always admit to it! Glad you got it back.
Straight up Awesome!
Still the same 'ole Kelly!! Thank goodness for honest people though!! In February we went to D-Land with Alma dn his wife and she watched Jordyn in the stroller while I went on a ride and she took my purse off the stroller and left it in the middle of a store...like 3 hours later I realized it was missing!! My whole life was in there....but she ran back to the store and thank heavens for honest people because someone had turned it in...untouched!!
I LOVE IT! It's so you Kelly--it makes me miss you. Come visit.
I have totally done this exact thing - I didn't even know it was gone until some random guy at a store called me. It restores your faith in good people.
Molly that left her groceries - hilarious. I've left my Wendy's order at the drive through and didn't know until I got home - twice. My poor kids.
thanks for the laugh Kel.

My husband has lost his wallet 3 times since we've been married which averages to once a year. he's constantly losing things. He only got his wallet back once though. I don't know what happened to the other 2.
I did the same thing with my wallet once, I got all the way to the store and realized at checkout I didn't have it. I went home and it was lying in the middle of the street in my neighborhood. Crazy life
Katie
I've decided that there are just too many things to keep track of anymore. It's no wonder us moms feel like we're completely losing it!!!
So glad you got your planner back!
