I always spend my dad's birthday doing some of my favorite things that remind me of him. We decided that we celebrated his birthday yesterday by spending a beautiful day at the beach with some of our best friends. My kids know that my love of the beach comes from my dad. I feel more at peace there than any other place. Pure happiness.
