How much to share?

First of all, thanks to all of you who have been posting on my blog. With everything that is going on in my life, I have really enjoyed having this outlet and feeling love and support from all of you. This was a good time for me to post every day.

That being said, yesterday was a real struggle for me. At first, I really liked the idea of documenting these last moments with my sweet father. After a really emotional day with him and my family yesterday, I was rethinking this decision. Then, as Bryce was screaming in my arms, I decided to just post my frustration.

Unfortunately, even though Bryce had 2 great naps today, he is up yet again. I am at my wit's end and my mom is holding him so I can get this post out. Thanks for your advice and sympathy.

Please just keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. I will try to say what I feel, without sharing too private or too personal emotions. I just don't think I can convey them accurately enough. For now, just be with me in spirit. I need the extra strength.

You're in my thoughts and prayers. Take care, my dear...

I thought about you last night as I struggled for *hours* to get my 2month old to sleep. He was clearly so tired, but was fighting it every step of the way. Sometimes, as hard as it is, it helps to know that even in the dead of the night, you are not alone.

Your family is in my prayers. Your parents are such wonderful people. I have fond memories of sleep overs at your house. It makes me sad that your dad is sick.
I know how it is to not have your kids sleep. Thank goodness for Disney movies. :)

I am thinking of you. What an emotional time, plus with the lack of sleep. God placed me at the right place at the right time when my grandma passed away and was able to be with her those last few hours. Wow, it was a roller coaster but I felt so blessed to be there. It is wonderful that you are there.

Kelly,
You know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers, especially at this difficult time. Just remember that Heavenly Father must need your Dad more than you right now. I hope that when it is his time to go that he does so peacefully. Thank you for introducing me to the church and being such a great example to me over the years (even if you don't agree!) Isn't it wonderful to know that you will see your Dad again soon and that you will all be together forever? I love you Kelly!

we must have the same baby. Mine is up as well, thinking it is nap time at 9:00 pm.

tomorrow you will be on the Boise Temple prayer role. I hope you can feel the love your father and your Heavenly Father has for you. I love you, and pray that you can have the Saviors Strength at this time, since you can't have your own. I don't think anyone could get by on their own watching and going through what you are. That is what the atonement is for. Let his strength become yours.

JP- Your ability to say the right thing at the right time is a gift.

Stacey- I keep wanting to find your blog, but I truly appreciate your comments. It is nice knowing I am not alone.

Jayme- Yeah!!
1. You carry yourself with such grace. Even when we were little, I remember being amazed by your beauty. (and a little jealous!)

2. You are so much fun! I have enjoyed reconnecting with you through your blog. You have the same spunk that I remember you having before.

3. You are a great mom. I can feel the love you have for your kids. I hope I get to meet your family sometime.

Leah- You know who you are. I love that about you. Thanks for everything!

Stephanie- Another new one who gets 3 things I love about you!

1. You are so calm! This one amazes me and everyone says it. Your children are so sweet and I am sure it is due to the demeanor of their mother.

2. You are so uplifting. I never heard a negative word out of your mouth. It made me and others want to be around you.

3. You make me want to be a better person. I am sad that you moved because I still feel I had so much to learn from you. Thanks for your example. I am glad that Emily and Maya were able to play together.

Val- You have a great memory. I love when you will remind me of things I forget and we can reminisce together. We had so many good times together, and we will continue to do so. I am so happy for you and Lee. I know I tell you that all the time but I have loved witnessing your relationship and marriage. Thanks for your example and thanks for your words.

Katie- You bring out the best in others. You know how to find the good in everyone. Thanks for helping me discover my strengths. YOu are a great friend. Thanks for putting us on the temple roll. It means a lot to me.

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. I feel you girl. Watching a parent fight this insidious disease is heart-wrenching and draining. I also hesitate with how much to share on my blog about my dad's illness. It's all so personal. But perhaps we can be a strength to each other. Here is my email if you want to talk or vent. jillparkinson@Hotmail.com

hang in there!
